Objectives
The mission of BCWA rests on the philosophy that a volunteer or a breast cancer survivor uses her experience to help other women through their journey of breast cancer treatment and recovery.
The objectives of BCWA are:
- Provision of psychosocial support to individuals with breast cancer.
- Assistance in procuring non-medical physical aids for individuals with breast cancer.
- Public education on breast health issues and breast self examination.
- Education of members on related areas of women’s health.
