Public Education & Awareness Campaigns

Exhibitions, talks and workshops are conducted in different languages for the public to promote breast self awareness (BSA), including familiarisation with normal changes in the breast, promoting screening and early detection of abnormal changes in the breast, and living with breast cancer. These events are organised for all levels of the community including residents' associations, service clubs, corporate companies, women's groups and educational institutions. One such event that requires special mention is Pink October which is the breast cancer awareness month where exhibitions are organised jointly with Estee Lauder group of companies at public venues. Educational materials pertaining to breast health are displayed for the public to view.
