The Thimble Thumb Team

The Thimble Thumb Team or fondly referred to as the 'TTT' is a group of volunteers who meet every Tuesday to design and sew fiber prostheses which are offered for free to women with breast cancer on a temporary basis before they are ready to be fitted with a silicone prosthesis. A heavier and better designed fiber prosthesis is also designed and sewn and offered at a minimum cost for women who cannot afford a silicon prosthesis.

The team also organises prosthesis making workshops for other breast cancer support groups in Klang Valley as well as other states in Malaysia.
