Welcome to Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia
Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia was founded in 1986 by medical specialists who realised the need for peer support for women with breast cancer. It is an independent tax-exempt voluntary organisation registered with the Registrar of Societies in Malaysia, and a member of the International Union against Cancer (UICC) and Reach to Recovery International (RRI).
A Little Change Goes A Long Way
Breast Cancer Welfare Association is funded solely through public donations, membership fee as well as fund-raising activities. Your support enables us to continue with our mission to improve the quality of life for women with breast cancer and to create a well informed society with regard to breast health and breast cancer.
Visit Reach to Recovery International’s Website
The Reach to Recovery movement is built on one simple yet universal principle: a woman who has lived through breast cancer and gives freely of her time to help another woman facing the same experience is a valuable source of support. Reach to Recovery International serves as an umbrella organization for Reach to Recovery programs and similar programs and organizations throughout the world.
Read Bloom eNewsletter
Bloom is a collection of articles from groups and organizations around the world who are involved in breast cancer support, research, and advocacy.
The e-newsletter allows women who have lived through breast cancer to tell their stories and share their emotional and psychological experiences. It reports on how groups organize programs to develop breast cancer awareness in their communities and give support to cancer patients.
